Tottenham are tracking Porto midfielder Hector Herrera.

With his contract running down, Porto chiefs are considering putting him up for sale in January.

Tuttosport says Inter Milan are keen and their intermediaries have learned Tottenham are also making enquiries.

Herrera enjoyed an outstanding World Cup with Mexico and attracted an approach from AS Roma last month.

Porto held firm, but with Herrera reluctant to discuss new terms, they now face the prospect of having to sell so to avoid losing him for nothing next year.
