Inter Milan have kicked off talks to sign Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure.Sportmediaset says Inter coach Roberto Mancini has spoken with Toure and convinced him to move to Italy this summer.

Inter have tabled Toure's camp a four-year contract offer worth €4.5 million-a-season.

The Nerazzurri also hope City will accept a bid of €8 million plus a bonus if Toure helps them qualify for the Champions League next season.

City are eager to clear Toure's €250,000-a-week wages off their books this summer.
