Inter Milan to kickoff Mourinho squad revamp

Inter Milan management are ready to discuss the contract situations of a raft of senior players. With the winter market now shut, coach Jose Mourinho's request to have his squad trimmed will be acted upon by Inter directors in the coming weeks.

Veteran pair Julio Cruz, the striker, and goalkeeper Francesco Toldo have both verbally agreed to go around again next season with Inter. Marco Materazzi, meanwhile, won't be offered a new deal until next season, with the defender's current agreement expiring in 2010.

On their way out are Olivier Dacourt, Hernan Crespo, Luis Figo and Patrick Vieira.

Young striker Robert Acquafresca may also not return from Cagliari should Inter manage to prise Didier Drogba away from Chelsea in the summer.
