Inter Milan are watching Lyon wing-back Michel Bastos at the World Cup.

With Inter fullback Douglas Maicon wanted by Real Madrid, Le Parisien says the Serie A champs see Brazil teammate Bastos as a replacement.

Inter plan to field Davide Santon at right-back and would bring in €20 million-rated Bastos for the left-side of defence.

For the moment, Inter are monitoring Bastos' form and are yet to make a firm approach to Lyon to open negotiations.
