Inter Milan goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano is grateful to Palermo for helping him return to the Italy squad.
The goalkeeper is back in the squad after rupturing knee ligaments in pre-season training with Inter. He joined the Rosanero in January.
"To have been able to do so quickly after my return to action is particularly pleasing and makes me proud.
"I'm grateful to Palermo as they have allowed me to play with continuity for such an important club," he added.
"I also want to thank Prandelli who has shown some great faith in me.""Getting back into the international set-up was one of my primary objectives," the former Bologna No 1 said.
