Inter Milan keen to send Maicon to Man City for Tevez
Manchester City are now discussing a swap involving Carlos Tevez for Inter Milan fullback Douglas Maicon.
Having asked after Samuel Eto'o, Mediaset says City boss Roberto Mancini has now given the green light for a deal including Maicon.
The talks are already at an advanced stage, with Maicon being 'sold' to City in a straight swap for the 12-month loan of Tevez.
A final price Inter must cough up next summer for the Argentine still needs to be ironed out.
Inter are willing to part with Maicon after swooping for Santos fullback Jonathan earlier this summer.

English are mostly stupid in transfer. The Spanish and the Italians are more cunning and better to get more value in the way they spend.
Maicon won't be able to keep up with the players in the EPL? EPL is a big bang football no tactics what so ever, why do you think FCB beats the $#!t out of ManU twice for? Maicon will do more than great .I wish he would have gone to RM to clash with Dani Alves instead but it is what it is.It's more money for him if he signs with Man City.
Mancini would be stupid if he swapped tevez with 2 30yr old players. Each of these players would want at least 150k£pw and they don't have resale value!! Sell tevez for cash and stop wasting money !
