Inter Milan have invited controversy by interviewing TV present Paolo Bonolis, a big Nerazzurri fan, on their TV channel.
Bonolis says the Nerazzurri were being harmed so that city rivals AC Milan could finish high enough to qualify for the Champions League.
"I'm not Bonolis, it is up to him to respond," said Inter president Massimo Moratti.
"Everyone can have an opinion, this is a free country. I have mine on the constant damage being inflicted on us."
Milan issued a brief note hitting back at the television celebrity.
"The statements of Paolo Bonolis, made to Inter Channel and distributed by the official Inter website, are exceptionally serious and without foundation," they said.
