Inter Milan are stepping up their pursuit of Manchester United attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The Corriere dello Sport says Mkhitaryan is set for a move away from Old Trafford in January with Inter Milan interested in his signature.
Despite a strong start to the campaign, the Armenian has fallen down Jose Mourinho's pecking order and has been starved of regular first-team minutes.
Inter are in the market for a midfielder and may look to swoop for the 28-year-old when the winter window opens in the new year.
Any deal would likely be a loan initially with Inter reluctant to spend beyond their means. However, this could change if they are forced to sell one of their big stars.
