Inter Milan legend Marco Materazzi admits he's gunning for the person who chose to axe him last season. Former Everton defender Materazzi left Inter after ten years' service at the end of the last campaign.
"I had another year on my contract with Inter, but the choices were made, someone probably did not have the grace to tell me, and not the president because I talked with him very clearly," revealed Materazzi.
"Respect is needed for a person who has given ten years of his life for his team, receiving a lot, but also giving a little something. I'm not going to play anywhere else in Italy, even though I have received some offers, a little out of respect for my fans and myself, because with all due respect I thought it would be a last resort.
"I went on my way, I'm glad what I did, then maybe one day I will meet (Gian Piero) Gasperini and ask him if he really was the person to choose another player in my place. We should still do a panel discussion with Leonardo, with Gasperini, with (Marco) Branca to get to the bottom of it."
