Inter Milan are stepping up their interest in Gremio defender Mario Fernandes.
Brazilian sources say Inter have posted scouts to watch Fernandes, 19, regularly leading up to the European summer market.
Fernandes is represented by Brazilian super agent Jorge Machado, who enjoys a close relationship with Inter president Massimo Moratti.
