Inter Milan are interested in Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho.
The veteran Portugal international is expected to see talks intensify over a move to Italy now that his World Cup campaign is over.
Carvalho is likely to arrive at Inter as a long-term replacement for veteran centre-half Marco Materazzi.
