Inter Milan GM Paolillo: We want Stramaccioni to succeed - and to stay

Inter Milan GM Ernesto Paolillo says new coach Andrea Stramaccioni is ticking all the right boxes. Stramaccioni kicked off his senior career with a stunning 5-4 win over Genoa.

Paolillo declared: "Stramaccioni has the talent, the youth sector also produces talented coaches. The new coach is very good, now he just needs to be left alone to express his talent without excessive pressure.

"He has the characteristics of a very attacking game, which has always been the case in all his teams, not just now. He has plans to impose his game and this can only be good.

"He's showed what we expected from him given the past months in which he conducted the Primavera in such an amazing way, he can find the strengths in players, put them into prominence, is determined, has a new outlook and is fresh, continuously studies, we hope that this might be the turning point.

"Stramaccioni could stay? The idea is this, this is the will, let the coach be allowed to express his value. The President has said, should he do well he'll solve the problems ... He certainly deserves it, he's good."
