Inter Milan are chasing Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong.

The Dutchman has insisted he is happy to stay with the champions, but has seen opportunities limited as he enters the final year of his contract.

Inter, who have been priced out of moves for Arsenal's Alex Song and Gunners target Yann M'Vila, believe £7m could be enough to sign the 27-year-old.

Holland team-mate Wesley Sneijder has already given his backing to the deal.
