Inter Milan fullback Davide Santon says he's ready to help restore Italy's international reputation.

Santon has been mentioned as part of new Italy coach Cesare Prandelli's revolution.

He said: "It 's nice to see my name among those in a possible squad. It would be even better if both Mario Balotelli and I made it.

"Jose Mourinho? He always told me where I was going wrong, so I wouldn't repeat my errors. Over and above everything I will always say thanks, it was he who opened the doors of great football to me."
