Inter Milan defender Davide Santon insists he is not aware of any interest from Premier League side Watford.

Top flight new boys Watford are looking to strengthen their side this summer and recent reports from Italy had claimed that the Hornets were weighing up a move for Nerazzurri left-back Santon.

However, Santon is unaware of any interest from Watford and has moved on to state that he is happy to remain at the San Siro for the foreseeable future.

Addressing the rumors, the defender posted the following statement in his official Facebook page: "Hello guys, I read all your comments and want to say I know nothing about all this [Watford's interest].

"I want to stay at Inter. Your comments were really very pleasing and I embrace you all with affection. Forza Inter!"
