Inter Milan defender Nemanja Vidic is being linked with a shock return to Manchester United. The Daily Express says despite enjoying much success during his 300 appearances for the Red Devils, Vidic has failed to hit the same heights in Italy, taking to the pitch just eight times under Walter Mazzarri.
The Serbian has come under a lot of criticism from both the press and Inter fans after failing to improve their leaky defence, and reports indicate that he will be shown the door in January.
It is also claimed that United are interested in re-signing Vidic on a six-month deal, with Louis Van Gaal desperately searching for defensive reinforcements.
