Inter Milan are being linked with former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
The Italian giants have held talks with Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes with a view to the former Chelsea chief replacing Roberto Mancini, says The Sun.
"This club has great expectations that he will come to manage them."
Crucially, Mourinho CAN work for any European club after agreeing an increased £17.4million pay-off with Chelsea that only prevents him from working in the Premier League for this season.
Mancini is under pressure after the Italian champions lost their Champions League opener to Fenerbahce this week.
And club president Massimo Moratti spoke to Mendes as soon as it became known Mourinho had left Chelsea.
Mendes revealed Portuguese FA chiefs have also approached him after boss Luiz Felipe Scolari copped a four-match ban for a punch-up in a game against Serbia.
Mendes added: "There is also interest from the Portugal national team.
"Nothing has been decided. Maybe Jose will decide to take a small break from football."
