Inter Milan have sacked coach Claudio Ranieri. Ranieri was shown the door in the wake of the derby d'Italia defeat to Juventus. He has been contracted until 2013.
Primavera coach Andrea Stramaccioni has been promoted to take charge in a caretaker capacity.
Stramaccioni is fresh from leading Inter to victory in the NextGen Series final on the weekend.
