Inter Milan edge five-goal Coppa thriller

Inter Milan survived a Bologna fight-back to win their Coppa Italia clash 3-2 last night.

Inter went into halftime 1-0 up thanks to a Fredy Guarin screamer.

Rodrigo Palacio made it 2-0 with a spectacular strike on 78 minutes before Bologna staged their late comeback through goals from Alessandro Diamanti and Manolo Gabbiadini.

Inter scored in the final minute of extra time. A Guarin corner was floated into the middle and Andrea Ranocchia placed the looping header into an empty net.
