Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho denies he is in talks with Real Madrid.

Inter have also moved to reject reports they are already lining up a replacement for Mourinho next season.

"With regard to what has been reported today by several Italian media, and in a particularly loud manner," read the statement.

"FC Internazionale underlines that absolutely no contact has been made with Coaches - of other clubs or national teams - given that the club has a contract with Jose Mourinho until 2012, and that everybody is focused solely on the team's important upcoming commitments."

Mourinho added his own brief statement to the club website, ending a media drought long enough to silence the rumours of negotiations with Real Madrid.

"I have not spoken to any club and, like all the Interisti, I too am only focused on the games with Siena and Bayern Munich."
