Inter Milan have denied lodging a bid for Montpellier midfielder Younes Belhanda.

Montpellier claimed an agreement had been struck with Inter for Belhanda.

"It's sad that we have to contradict the President of Montpellier, but Inter have never made an offer for their player Younes Belhanda," Nerazzurri technical director Marco Branca.
