Inter Milan defender Matias Silvestre is delighted with his move to Sampdoria.
Silvestre has joined Samp on-loan.
"I am very happy to be a Sampdoria player," he told a Press conference. "This club has had great champions like Vialli and Mancini - and Argentines like Veron.
"There were a few clubs interested, but it was Samp who tried hardest to get me, so it wasn't a hard decision to come here.
"Mihajlovic was one of the main reasons I came here. I knew him from my time at Catania and I know he's a great Coach who looks at every detail.
"Physically I feel ready and want to be in contention for the game against Torino."
