Inter Milan defender Joao Miranda has welcomed new signing Milan Skriniar.

Miranda is a fan of the Nerazzurri addition.

“It'll be a good match against a strong team, who like to play with the ball a lot. We want to do well," he told Inter Channel ahead of Sunday's friendly against Villarreal.

“The group are growing a lot, and each of us wants to grow more and more. This game is precisely for this, to gain confidence and grow even more.

“Skriniar? He's a good lad, who has enormous potential, and I think he wants to grow as well.

“I hope he can do it with this shirt. We want to get started, the Italian League is beautiful and we want to play in it."
