Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi has dismissed talk of retirement.
This week, new Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho claimed Matrix would retire as he couldn't stand being without the Special One!
"During that goodbye Mourinho confirmed to me he was leaving Inter," revealed Matrix in the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I replied: 'What am I supposed to do, retire?' But it was just a show of affection to let him understand how much I would miss him.
"I have no intention of hanging up my boots before my contract expires in 2012.
"I am already looking ahead to next season and the chance to win two trophies I don't yet have on my CV - the European Super Cup and Club World Cup."
