Materazzi said: "It was a beautiful experience. I was young and far from home. If I hadn't found Inter I would return willingly. It's fantastic here.
"I hold Inter very dear. They made me famous, and win a lot; and they treated me like one of the family from the President to the last fan.
"It's worth it even for only a minute on the pitch. The way the fans treat me also repays me for the so-called disappointment of not playing from the beginning."
