Inter Milan defender Lucio: I've joined great club

Lucio is excited about Inter Milan's prospects for the season ahead.

The new defensive signing said: “I am in a great club and a strong squad that is still hungry for success – as am I. It’s a team packed with champions.

“The Champions League is an objective for everyone and it is one for Inter because this is a top European club, but we are aware that we’re facing many sides with the same intentions.

“Even if this is my first experience in Italy, I know Serie A through having played against their teams many times. They are difficult opponents who are tactically tricky, but with intelligence I will adapt to a tough tournament.”
