Inter Milan defender Jonathan happy making Parma move

Inter Milan defender Jonathan is delighted with his loan move to Parma.

The Brazilian insists he never turned down Parma earlier this month.

“I want to clarify straight away that I didn’t refuse to join Parma,” the South American commented. “I’m happy to be here and I want to show everyone my worth.”

The deal to take the wing-back to the Gialloblu looked to have collapsed earlier this week, but the 25-year-old will now end the campaign with their No 2 shirt on his back.

“I chose Parma because they are a great team and I’m at the complete disposal of the Coach,” the right-sided player added.

“I can play in a four-man defence or in midfield if a three-man defence is used. I like to attack and I want to enjoy myself.”
