Inter Milan defender Chivu open to Roma return

Inter Milan defender Cristian Chivu is keen on a return to former club Roma.

Corriere dello Sport says Chivu still has strong ties to Roma, where he counts Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi as among his closest friends.

The Romania international is contracted to Inter until 2012, but knows the door at Roma will always be open to him and he refuses to rule out a return to the Giallorossi.
