Inter Milan aren't giving up on a top three finish.

The Nerazzurri currently sit in fifth place in Serie A.

"The victory over Sampdoria enables us to keep alive the hope of reaching third place," said Inter director Marco Fassone.

"I'm sure that we will fight until the end for a top position.

"The Champions League has to be a primary objective for a club like Inter.

"But at the same time, trying to recover seven points in eight games is not a lot of time."
