Inter Milan have made a move for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.
The Daily Star says according to reports in Italy, discussions between Inter owner Erick Thohir and United officials are underway over the transfer of Hernandez.
The Mexican forward has endured a difficult campaign under new United boss David Moyes, making only four Premier League starts and playing much of the season in the shadow of Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck.
Miguel Herrera, Hernandez's agent, admitted last month of the player's frustration at the lack of first-team football and Thohir is confident he can lure the 25-year-old to Italy with the promise of regular action.
