Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni says their derby win over AC Milan was a game changer.

The Nerazzurri defeated Massimiliano Allegri's side 1-0 back in October, and the 36-year-old Coach believes that those three points will be a catalyst for the season to come.

"I look back on the last derby win," he told Inter Channel. "That win, and the one against Juventus show we have qualities beyond the technical and tactical.

"[Yuto] Nagatomo got sent off, and the game could have changed at that point, but we pulled out something extra that cannot really be explained.

"We were driven by the fans that day."
