Inter Milan coach Stramaccioni proud of 2012

Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni admits 2012 was an incredible year for himself.

Stramaccioni took charge of Inter late, last season and has won great praise for the way he's handled the job.

"Yes, it has. On a personal level, definitely. If I think about what I was doing on the first of January, I've realised a whole host of dreams and even if I feel 100% the Inter manager, it's still a huge dream for me because I never forget, not for a second, where I come from and what I did before I was here. 2012 is the year that changed my life.

"I've already said several times that I would never have put myself in charge of Inter last April, so if I'm completely honest I think it's more than a dream. One of those moments that really do repay you for all the sacrifices and hard work you've done, and it's thanks to president Moratti and Inter."
