Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni admitted disappointment after their 0-0 draw with Fiorentina.
Stramaccioni fielded a very attacking line-up with Diego Forlan, Ricky Alvarez, Diego Milito and Mauro Zarate in the starting XI.
He said: "Our idea was to push forward, seeing as Fiorentina had five defenders and three midfielders. I used quality players for the one-on-one and thought Zarate, Alvarez and also Maicon did well when Fiorentina allowed some space.
"Forlan could've done better, as is true for everybody, but I don't regret picking him. It takes a little time to get this new approach down.
"As for the Champions League qualification, until it becomes mathematically impossible then we will keep believing. We are Inter and always fight for the best possible objective."
