Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni feels the international came at the right time for his squad.

Inter suffered a home defeat to AS Roma before the squad broke up.

"I certainly think the pause for international duty has been important to get some players back to full fitness," said the Coach.

"In my view, the strength of a Coach and a squad has to be in keeping a clear head to understand what is really working and what needs to be improved.

"If criticism is constructive, then fine, otherwise they can be ignored. This is only normal, as in Italy the result is absolutely crucial."
