Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni has explained his recall for Mauro Zarate.

Zarate struggled for action under predecessor Claudio Ranieri.

"I don't know what he did before my arrival, but I have found a player who has been training well and who has done so with enthusiasm and desire.

"I knew he could make a contribution and I'm glad that he is expressing himself well."
