Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni was delighted with victory over Siena.
Diego Milito struck twice to earn Inter the 2-1 win.
"The game was certainly an uphill struggle, as conceding so early against this Siena is tough, but we always took the initiative against the form team of the moment. I saw a collective improvement in the side," said the Coach.
"After three games I hold on tight to this growth from Inter in terms of possession and mentality. By attacking with so many players we do concede something at the back, but I have seen progress.
"We conceded again, but I like to see the glass half-full. Do I believe in third place? Yes, with all my heart. I think our second half was like a manifesto of what this Inter can do, putting in grit, heart and finishing off the game in the best way."
