Inter Milan coach Spalletti still critical after 4-0 rout

Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalletti wasn't completely satisfied after their 4-0 rout of Cagliari on Wednesday night.

The Nerazzurri absolutely dominated, but there could've been many more, as they had 20 shots on goal with no reply.

“Let's just say that after putting the result under lock and key, the ball started to move at the right tempo, whereas before we didn't have the right cadence," Spalletti told Mediaset Premium.

Yann Karamoh missed two sitters in the first half, including a volley on to the crossbar.

“He's a very good player and when he turns on the afterburners, he leaves you in the dust. He's very creative and that means collaborating with teammates is tricky, but he mustn't get into bad habits. I know the crowd loves him, but it'll help him become a better player.

“He is capable both of squirming through defenders and of going down the flanks. He does lose the ball cheaply and has to improve his finishing, as he doesn't have a great record, but we can work on that."
