Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalletti admits he is hopeful of working with Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric.
Spalletti has talked up the prospect of signing Modric this weekend.
He said, “Modric? I'll keep dreaming with the fans, plus the club have shown that they're working in a consistent manner.
“It's clear that a player of his ability would be important to us. There are still some days of the window left. If (Leo) Messi came up at the last minute, I'd gladly accept him.
“I repeat, I'll keep dreaming with the fans, but we have what it takes to tackle what lies ahead."
