Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has dismissed criticism of their football this season.
The Nerazzurri have been criticised for their unspectacular and at times unimpressive style, especially as 10 of their 13 victories this season were by 1-0 scorelines.
“There are four or five sides in the world who play really good football, the ones with the best players: Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain…." said Mancini in his Press conference.
“Results mean a lot in Italy and we tend to forget what happened during the game. We played well on Wednesday, had 24 chances against Chievo, who had not a single shot on goal in the first half, 68 per cent possession.
“It's difficult to play scintillating football in Italy, because the teams are all so tactically astute and double up with defenders. There's more space elsewhere to play good football."
