Inter Milan coach Claudio Ranieri is reluctant to lose Thiago Motta this month.
The Italy international is the subject of a major bid from PSG this week and all signs are that Inter will accept the offer.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Ranieri feels they cannot afford to lose Motta at this time of the season.
However, Inter chiefs have told Ranieri they will move for Genoa's Miguel Veloso should they decide to cash in on Motta.
