Inter Milan coach Ranieri explains not utilising Sneijder

Inter Milan coach Claudio Ranieri has defended not utilising Wesley Sneijder after defeat to Novara.

Ranieri's job is on the line after the shock loss.

But he insisted: “Wesley Sneijder is a champion who has always done brilliantly for Inter, but now he has to settle into a different tactical context, with other mechanisms and requirements.

“It’s only natural the fans are not happy at the moment. We won’t give up, though, as we just need to make the right adjustments.”
