Inter Milan coach Ranieri careful with Sneijder return

Inter Milan boss Claudio Ranieri was happy to give Wesley Sneijder more action yesterday in victory over Lazio.

Sneijder came on for the second half, as he is still recovering from two months on the treatment table.

“Sneijder is not yet 100 per cent fit, but he is recovering and becoming important for us again. He did well against Genoa in the Coppa Italia midweek and I introduced him straight after the break, as I didn’t like anything about the first half and hoped he’d change something,” said Ranieri.
