Inter Milan coach Walter Mazzari admits they're a team in "transition" after defeat to Genoa.

President Erick Thohir confirmed there will be no impressive January buys.

"We all know that when a team like Inter is in an historic moment of change, it's difficult for people to understand that. The side is still trying to win every game, but what this season tells us will help build for next year and make Inter competitive again," said Mazzarri.
