Inter Milan coach Walter Mazzarri has defended his lack of use of Danilo D'Ambrosio.

D'Ambrosio was signed from Torino in January, but has barely featured under Mazzarri.

"The wingers need to understand many specific things about my tactics and when Danilo has done that he will certainly play.

"Now there is healthy competition and this allows me to keep everyone on their toes."
