Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has defended his decision to leave Adriano out of his squad for today's clash with Palermo.

"The choices are influenced only by what I see during the week in training and in games," said Mancini. "I do not look at other things. I have five strikers available, often in the last few games I've had three on the bench. And this perhaps has been without logic because, on the bench, we need to be covered in all departments."
