Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalletti: I know I can do more here

Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalletti admits they should be doing better.

The Nerazzurri are currently sitting in third place.

"If I think that I earned as many points as I did last season (at Roma), then I think that I must aim for more, so I am not happy with my work," Spalletti told Mediaset Premium.

“Certainly, being at Inter is exciting and it creates a real passion inside of you, just looking at the history. We must work to feel ourselves within Inter, to be worthy of Inter, as that can make the difference.

“I look at my own results as well as those of the team, whether I am able to get the best out of my players. I think we've done quite well, but are capable of something more. We've got to get a move-on in the second half of the season."

Inter were the only side still unbeaten, but then lost two on the bounce against Udinese and Sassuolo. Was it a psychological issue?

“We have Mauro Icardi, the goal psychologist. He will speak to the team before tomorrow's training session and he will help find the solution to more team goals," smiled Spalletti.
