Inter Milan chief Javier Zanetti admits they're interested in Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega.

Inter retain hope of securing Banega to a Bosman agreement.

"Ever Banega? He's an important player with quality and personality, he'd do well anywhere. We hope he can win the Europa League for the third time in a row with us, it'd be very important for our group," said Zanetti.

“We have to be smart and adhere to FFP, according to the parameters. Then we have to figure out who we can bring in to strengthen our team.

“We want to build from the base we have, and we hope there's no need to sell but it's very complicated because to meet our commitments we have to make sacrifices."
