Inter Milan chief Steven Zhang feels the club's Chinese owners have won over the fans this season.

Inter are now a genuine title prospect this season under coach Luciano Spalletti.

Zhang told Inter TV: "Inter is ready, we do not say more 'Inter is coming', but 'Inter is ready'. Nerazzurri around the world, is more and more fantastic.

"I say to the fans' charge for this 2018, be excited ... Have fun and 'let's go and command' ... I've been here for a year and a half, we've gone from ups and downs and next year we will write the history of the Club celebrating the 110th.

"We must consider ourselves all a bit lucky to be part of Inter. This year we have improved thanks to the hard work of the players, the coach, every single person who works Inter: the effort of all of you brings Inter forward and we are already heading in the right direction and you know what we have to do in the second part of the season: the goal is clear, the Champions League.

"First, we will do our best because 2018 is the biggest year."
