Inter Milan director Lele Oriali has slammed Florentino Perez over his pursuit of coach Jose Mourinho for his Real Madrid ticket.

"We knew that Real Madrid were interested in Mourinho, even if they didn't use the usual methods of making their intentions known," Oriali told Sky Sport 24.

"I think that given the past deals we have made with them it would have been better if they had contacted President Massimo Moratti before they spoke to our Coach.

"However, Mourinho spoke to the President and I believe that he will stay at Inter.

"That is just my opinion, you will have to ask the man himself, but I think he is here to close an important cycle."
