Inter Milan chief Lele Oriali is confident the row between Mario Balotelli and coach Jose Mourinho is over.

After meeting with Mourinho yesterday morning, Balotelli issued a public apology to Inter via the club's website in the afternoon.

Oriali said last night: "It closes a story, a soap opera that went on for too long. He admitted he was wrong with his attitude and apologized for this. Now, let's go forward.

"The meeting between the boy and the coach before training went for a good half hour. I think they talked about everything, of course after training I have spoken with the coach, as I did with the boy .

"This makes us very happy because it's closed a story."

Oriali added: "He was probably advised by someone close that it was time to put an end to this story. He admitted he was wrong about everything, therefore we have accepted this, as did our coach.

"From this moment he is available, of course the coach will decide whether to select him and when to use him or not."
